Featuring Hornady SST projectiles the Gamemaster has the power to take any medium game in the United States. Though not a true match round due to the temperature sensitivity inherent in the load, the accuracy of the round is phenomenal. This round has been fired out to a thousand yards in competition with no noticable deviation.
Slightly higher than standard pressure these high performing .308 hunting rounds were originally designed for the Remington 700. However, these rounds are also crimped and perform well in the AR-10 platform and other self-loading 308 rifles. Out of an AR-10 with a free floated 18 inch barrel with 1:10" twist rate it has routinely achieved .75 MOA levels of accuracy. Re-zeroing is recommended if the ambient temperature is + or - fourty degrees Fahrenheit of the zeroing temperature in order to ensure consistency in point of impact.
